“Your open evening was definitely the best we experienced this year. Your teachers were so helpful & kind & welcoming. I look forward to making your school my son’s first choice. Thank you.”
“I have to say the school exceeded our expectations and was far better than we imagined, with amazing facilities, a welcoming atmosphere, and a real sense of pride throughout.”
“So far, you’re the only school I know who has reached out to new starters and provided support towards their SATs in both Maths and English. My daughter’s anxiety has really been put at ease, not only SATs anxiety, but also transition anxiety. It’s given her a much clearer mindset, which is brilliant.”
“The school has exceeded our expectations. The atmosphere, the facilities and the care shown to the children have all been outstanding.”

Our Open Events are designed for families considering entry at 11+ (Year 06). Whether you’re just beginning your school search or are ready to apply, we’d be delighted to welcome you.
Absolutely. We encourage prospective students to attend, as Open Events are a great opportunity to experience life at Lift Bexleyheath, meet current students and teachers, and explore the opportunities available.
From the moment you arrive, you’ll be welcomed by our staff and students before setting off on a personalised tour led by one of our student ambassadors. You’ll have the opportunity to explore our academic departments, watch interactive demonstrations and try different activities, meet teachers and students, speak with our admissions and pastoral teams, and hear from our Principal (please make sure you book a space).
Yes. Booking is essential so we can provide every family with the best possible experience and allocate you to one of our Principal's talks. Some events, such as the taster sessions, will have limited capacity, so early booking is encouraged.
Yes. Every department will be open, with teachers and students available to talk about subjects, other opportunities and life at Lift Bexleyheath. You’ll also be able to meet members of our admissions, SEND, pastoral, EAL and Wellbeing teams
Most events are timed and timings will be clear when booking specific events. Families spend around two to two and a half hours at Open Evening, including attendance to the Principal's talk. The Open morning tours last 45 minutes.
Families can book to attend as many events as they would like. Each event is designed to showcase different aspects of the school and offer a different experience.
Parking is available at the back of the school in the Goals car park on Graham Road, behind the large Asda on the high street. Be sure to let our reception team know your car registration number. If you choose to park on any nearby residential roads, we kindly ask that you are considerate of our neighbours and observe any parking restrictions.
Refreshments will be available at our Open evening event and our taster sessions.
We will also offer 45 minute, small-group weekday tours from Monday, 21 September to Friday, 02 October 2026. These provide another opportunity to see Lift Bexleyheath in action, meet members of staff and ask questions about admissions. Please book these via the Open Morning Tours link above.
The best way to answer this is to visit us. You’ll experience our warm, inclusive community, meet the students who bring our School to life and discover why so many families describe Lift Bexleyheath as a place where every child is known, supported and encouraged to thrive.
